The most useful thing you can send
A screenshot of a German sentence that reads oddly.
The app generates its sentences rather than picking them from a list, which means it can produce German that is perfectly grammatical and still not something anyone would say. Automated checks catch a great deal and miss exactly this. Nearly every real improvement in the app has started with somebody screenshotting a sentence and saying a German would not put it that way.
If you can, say what you would have expected instead. That single line is worth more than any bug report format.
Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for. Your progress lives on your phone.
Does it work offline?
Flashcards, your saved words and your progress all work offline. The Builder needs a connection to analyse a sentence you type, and audio needs one to generate speech.
Why does it ask for my location?
Only to show the local weather on the home screen, in German. It is optional, the app works fully without it, and the position is rounded to about 11 km before it is sent anywhere. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I change my level?
Settings → Your level. It is set from your onboarding answers and you can move it at any time. It drives the Builder, the Satzpuzzle and Topics together.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app, or use Settings → Reset all progress. Since everything is stored on your device, that is genuinely all of it.
Is the medical vocabulary for the Fachsprachprüfung?
There is clinical vocabulary and a ward-round register in the app, which physicians preparing for the FSP have found useful. It is a language course, not exam preparation, and it is not clinical guidance.
Something crashed.
Please email us with your phone model and iOS or Android version, and what you were doing. The app collects no diagnostics of its own, so your description is what we have to go on.
